民謡ユニットこでらんに～

"Minyo-Coderanny" is a 4 member Minyo group formed in 2018. Minyo is a style of Japanese folk singing. The members of the group are Freddie Tsukamoto is the Minyo vocalist, Kazuhisa Akiyama plays the Tsugaru-Shamisen, Kanako Mikado plays Shinobue(a Japanese traditional flute), and Chan-Yuka plays Ohayashi (a musical accompaniment) and Taiko (drums.) The group gained attention in 2021, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic with the initiation of the "Minyo Exchange Project" embracing the motto of performing Minyo Songs that everyone present could hum to and feel compelled to dance. The Unit engages in a wide range of activities including live appearances at festivals and collaborations with international artists.
