Akey’s edgy and deep techno sets encompass breaks, leftfield techno/house, and electro, adapting to the demands of the scene and settings, a style firmly gripped in alternative sounds. She began organizing her party “Voltex” at the now-defunct Contact Tokyo, and is currently a resident DJ of a new emerging techno party called “KILLIAN”. Additionally, in recent years, she has expanded to a wider audience by providing mixes focused around ambient/electro/breaks/EBM for radio platforms such as UK's ‘Noods Radio’, Mexico's 'Internet Public Radio’, and 'The Lot Radio' based in New York.
