Trance
AStarting his career in 2002, WATARU quickly gained attention for his deep love of psychedelic sounds, and is now based in Tokyo as one of the key figures in Japan's psychedelic trance scene.
In 2004, he co-founded Dears Music International (DMI) and has contributed to the development of the Japanese scene by inviting world-class artists to Japan.
He then joined ADS Entertainment, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, to further hone his skills and expand his range of activities, and in 2025 he became the official Japanese ambassador for the prestigious Israeli label Sacred Technology.
Known for fusing cutting-edge tracks with nostalgic old-school energy, WATARU's play is based on a respect for the past and a passion for the future.
While specializing in full-on sound, including Sacred Technology, his play is also versatile and suitable for a variety of stages and times, and he hopes to bring his worldview to Japan and the world.
