Maico Tomita / Percussion I was born in Tokyo. I graduated Senzoku Gakuen College of Music in Japan. I won the highest award at The 31th Japan Percussion Competition for the Future Players.
At present, I perform in orchestras as a visiting member player, and I’m active in the various fields, for example, ensembles, solo performance and collaboration with the different field of the art. I formed a percussion ensemble group “DOYA-DOYA”, we play Rock music by an original arrangement, and it was also evaluated by the members of the world-famous rock band “KISS”. We are also a Tokyo-approved street performance artist. I belong to the “TOKYO RAKUTAKEDAN”, we create musical instruments of a Japanese bamboo and perform with it.
A music workshop and concert for a parents and children are being also performed aggressively at various places for example concert hall, elementary school and children’s house. https://maicotomita.com/
