Young Marco

Amsterdam native producer, certified dude and DJ currently known as Young Marco has been on the forefront of the city's bustling underground scene for more than a decade. Coming up through several now infamous residencies, he quickly gained notoriety for his genre-defying and ballsy DJ sets with a unique take on dance music, playing everything from lost proto-jaktrax to african disco anthems. After releasing several records on Rush Hour his signature zonked out house sound soon found a home on Lovefingers' ESP Institute, releasing the sought after “Video Days” and “Nonono” Eps, and eventually dropping his 2014 debut album “Biology”, a balanced watercolour of broken drum computers and 90's new-age synthesizers. That same year Marco formed Gaussian Curve, an ambient “supergroup” together with Gigi Masin, Jonny Nash. They released their debut album “Clouds” in early 2015 to high praise on Music From Memory records. Marco has also became a sought after remixer, giving his take on artists like afro legend Francis Bebey, Heatsick, Joakim, and many more. All the while Young Marco continues to steadily play all around the globe sharing his love for strange dance music and unclassics.
