DJ SHIMOYAMA

Shimoyama is well known as music producer , his career was start from DJing at club “P.Picasso”/Nishiazabu,Tokyo , “Shimokitazawa ZOO”/Shimokitazawa,Tokyo, then he moved to England and experienced massive warehouse party at Glastonbury. That party experienced is his roots of his music creations. After his returning home , Shimoyama kept DJing at “Gold/Shibaura” , “ Cave/Shibuya” as residential DJ. Then , Shimoyama set up unit called “Sample Butlers’ with Obinata & Jun Nagasaki (Jun N had unit with Yukihiro Fukutomi at this moment.) , “Sample Butlers” got work at CG kids educational fun TV Show called “Ugo Ugo Luga”/Fuji TV for music selections and produced original songs. TV Show “Ugo Ugo Luga” had music section in show that called “ Douyo Remix”. “Douyou” means children song in Jpanese. “Douyo Remix” was kind a new type of music. “Sample Butlers/Douyo Remix Vol.1” (Ponycanyon) sold half a million and ranked in Top 20 hits in Japan.(Oricon Chart) In 2001’ , Shimoyama started his creations at nitelist music and he got smash hit “Basement Boys/Violin(nitelistmusic/cutting edge)” Remix at overseas and his creations start spread all over the world. In 2004’ , “DJ Shimoyama feauturing SILVIO ANASTACIO/ile aie” released. In 2008’ , “DJ Shimoyama feauturing Emi Hinouchi/Life After Sundown” released. Current , Producing Full Album & Mix CD.
