machìna

With roots in South Korea, Machina is an artist currently based in Tokyo and Berlin. In 2021, she participated in the compilation album "Tresor 30", released on the Alliance label run by the prestigious Berlin club Tresor. She also has a backbone from the K-pop scene and her beautiful vocals, which have been trained since that time, were featured on the famous track "Hawk" by the UK's leading duo producer Bicep. Around the same time, their debut EP 'Trusted' was released on London's UTTU. As a regular performer at MUTEK Japan, her sound is constantly expanding. Her most recent performance at MUTEK Montreal was also very well received and led to an appearance at SILVESTER KLUBNACHT in Berghain at the end of 2022. In 2023, she joined Richie Hawtin's world tour "From Our Minds - To Be Announced 2023" and performed a newly developed techno live set. The basis for this live set was an experimental project called "Action", a series of dance tracks, the concept of which was the perfect harmony of rhythm and sound.
