Started in 2018, “ARRROUND Wicked Sound Maker” is a label that mixes reggae with sounds from everywhere, creating a NICE MOOD on the streets with timeless vibes. The founder runs regular parties like “SIDE.C” at Bar Cheeky in Kichijoji and “STRICTLY ROCKERS The PARTY” at Toranoko Shokudo. Through the label, he’s been putting out a variety of formats, such as his own “SIDE.C Classics” series, mix CDs from artists like Peach Iwasaki, Daddy-Kan, Ayu-Chan-Ching, and EL-QUANGO, plus the LP-sized wooden frame “AWSM Frame.” In 2021, he released a 10-inch vinyl “AMAI HIT KOUCHIE E.P.” (featuring KEN KEN, ICHIHASHI DUBWISE, and asuka ando), which sold out. Then in August 2024, he put out a 7-inch vinyl featuring a standout track by the Indonesian Lovers Rock band “GUDTINGS” and a dub version by ICHIHASHI DUBWISE. He’s also slowly working on an online radio show called “SEX ON THE RADIO” with asuka ando and DJ Samohan Kinpo.
