〈Hessle Audio〉is one of the UK bass scene's leading labels founded by Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, and Pangaea.
They all started their careers in their teens and were strongly influenced by the likes of DMZ, Sub Dub, and FWD, as well as the freedom of the dubstep scene in London and Leeds, which continued to expand. They added their originality and, as the scene became more fragmented, they started Hessle Audio to make more use of their individuality. The label has established a solid reputation for its aesthetic sense and has been quick to discover talents such as James Blake, who later gained a reputation that needs no explanation, and Joe, who has been played heavily by Richard Villalobos. Of their releases, '116 & Rising' is probably the best at the time. This compilation, which included tracks from the aforementioned artists as well as Untold, Addison Groove, Peverelist, Blawan, Elgato, and many others, proved that Hessle Audio has not lost its original philosophy and continues to evolve further. Hessle Audio has not lost its original philosophy and continues to evolve. They have always been experimental and original in their ideas. But when they come together as Hessle Audio, the chemical reactions are truly unpredictable and have to be experienced to be believed.
