Worship Pain

Formed in Japan in 2016 by veterans of Tokyo's metal and hardcore scene, Worship Pain plays a crushing hybrid of black metal, hardcore and rock, bringing to mind bands like MGLA and Tragedy. Including former members of Black Line Fever, Funeral Sutra, Retch, and Darkcorpse, and current drummer of Swazond, Worship Pain combine many years of DIY gigs, touring and recording around Japan and in their home countries of America, Australia and Canada. Lyrically, the band focus on themes of emptiness and impermanence, using the power of music to create cathartic states of redemption and release.
