虚構世界と物語から影響を受けてきたTonerは、台湾在住時代にオルタナティブなアンダーグラウンドテクノシーンと邂逅し、日本に帰国したのちダンス・ミュージックの境界線を拡張し続ける野外フェスティバルシーンに深く潜り込んできた。2022年にToss、Kaanaらと共にディープ・リスニングを主軸としたチルアウト・コミュニティ 〈LIMINAL DREAMS〉 を発足させ、現在はダンスミュージックのフォーマットの解体、横断を実験するクラブイベント〈The Line Shifting to Dots〉と並行した活動を続けている。2025年からは野外フェスティバル〈rural〉のレジデントを務めている。 Tonerの関心はフォーマティヴな音楽ジャンルを横断、逸脱、脱構築することにあり、忘れ去られた過去の名作から日の目を浴びてない隠れたジェム、カテゴライズ不能な実験音楽を1つの時間軸へと収束させることができるDJ美学に魅了されてきた。DJとしては、煙の漂う薄暗いクラブから日本各地の秘境に出現するダンスフロアを巡り歩いている。国内では〈rural〉や〈Transcendence〉などの野外フェスティバルから、台湾の〈Organik Festival〉タイの〈Wonderfruit〉に出演を行っている。 Heavily influenced by the fictional world and stories, Toner firstly encountered the alternative techno underground scene while living in Taiwan. After returning to Japan, Toner has been diving deep into the hidden hotspots that expand the boundaries of dance music, and working for them in many positions behind the scenes. Since 2022, he has started to host the deep listening focused chill-out community “LIMINAL DREAMS” with Toss and Kaana, and now is responsible for directing events in Tokyo. He also works as a curator for “The Line Shifting to Dots,” a club event that experiments with the deconstruction of formats. In 2025, he became a resident member of the outdoor festival "rural" and continues to cross over across ambient and dance music. Toner is interested in crossing, deviating, and deconstructing existing formative genres, and loves forgotten old masterpieces, hidden gems that have never seen the light, and uncategorizable experimental music. As a DJ, He is known for his ability to take the dance floor from a smoke-filled, dimly lit club to an otherworldly dance floor in the secluded corners of Japan. He has taken to the stage at outdoor festivals such as “rural” and “Transcendence” in Japan, as well as at “Organik Festival” in Taiwan and “Wonderfruit” in Thailand.
