Phone Number Authentication
Phone Number Authentication is a service that provides a mechanism to securely verify a user's identity on the Internet using a phone number, which is information strongly associated with the user's identity.
In order to prevent unauthorized use by spoofing or multiple accounts, we request that you authenticate using your cell phone number.
Flow of Phone Number Authentication
1. select your country code, enter your cell phone number, and click "Receive verification code".
2. Enter the code received via SMS and click "Verify.
*If your country code is not displayed, select "Others (+)", enter your country code, and then enter your cell phone number.
The message "This number is already a registered member.
A phone number cannot be registered for more than one account.
If you have already registered for another account, an error message stating "This number is already registered" will appear immediately after you click "Receive verification code.
In this case, please try the following
1. Purchase tickets with the account in which your phone number is registered.
Delete the phone number from the account in which the phone number is registered, and re-register it in the account in which you wish to purchase tickets.
If the error message "This number is already registered" appears even though the phone number you have entered is correct and has not been registered to your account, there are the following possibilities
1. You are registered under your family member's account.
2. The person who was the owner of the phone number before you got it has left it registered with Zaiko.
In case 1, please check with your family member and ask them to cancel the registration.
In case 2, please provide us with the necessary information and our customer support will check the registration status.
Documents that can be used to verify identity
Please prepare a document that can verify your name, date of birth, photo, and the document's issuer, and that is valid and within the expiration date.
For overseas residents (must be written in English), please prepare a document that can verify your name, date of birth, photo, and the issuing source of the document, and that is valid and within the expiration date.
*Please hide unnecessary information.
Examples: driver's license, passport, etc.
Don't have a cell phone/want to register with a landline
If you do not have a landline, a phone number starting with 050, a phone number dedicated to telecommunications, or a cell phone number, you will not be able to authenticate.
Please prepare a cell phone number that can receive SMS and make calls.
*The same applies if you are using a PC or tablet device.
Did not receive an SMS after entering my phone number
If you do not receive the message, please check the following possibilities.
・You may have entered your phone number incorrectly.
・Your phone number is already registered to another account.
・Receiving SMS and international SMS is not set to "Receive".
*Phone numbers starting with "050" or "landline" are not available.
・It is taking time to receive SMS from the center due to congestion at the SMS sending center.
If none of the above is the problem, please try the following troubleshooting.
・Check the spam mail settings of your telecommunication carrier.
・Reboot the handset.
・If you are using a Wi-Fi connection to receive SMS, switch to a cell phone connection (4G or 5G).
・Delete unnecessary SMS data to resolve capacity shortage.
・Switch the SMS receiving application to another SMS application.
・Poor mobile signal conditions
・Give it some time and try again.
・Update the SMS application to the latest version.
